Agile Project Management Foundation and Practitioner


Overview

This accredited Agile Project Management course provides a structured and practical approach to managing projects in an agile environment. It equips participants with the principles, processes and techniques needed to plan, organise and control projects while retaining the flexibility to respond effectively to changing requirements and priorities.

The course is based on the established Agile Project Management framework and provides an end-to-end approach to the project lifecycle, combining clear project governance and control with the adaptability associated with agile working.

Participants will explore how to establish appropriately empowered project teams, prioritise requirements, manage time and resources, engage stakeholders and maintain a clear focus on delivering business value. Practical techniques including facilitated workshops, MoSCoW prioritisation, iterative development and timeboxing are introduced and applied throughout the programme.

The programme incorporates preparation for the Agile Project Management Foundation and Practitioner examinations, providing participants with the opportunity to achieve a recognised professional qualification.

Qualification and assessment

This is an accredited Agile Project Management Foundation and Practitioner programme and includes the relevant examinations.

Successful completion provides participants with the opportunity to gain recognised Foundation and Practitioner qualifications in Agile Project Management.

The Foundation stage establishes understanding of the principles, terminology, roles, lifecycle and techniques. The Practitioner stage develops participants' ability to apply and tailor the approach to practical project situations.
